‘Hold on to the light’: 50 per cent of all eligible adults in Toronto now vaccinated against COVID-19
Toronto has reached another milestone in its COVID-19 vaccine rollout.
By the end of this weekend, half of all eligible adults in the city will have received their first dose of the shot.
“Reaching this milestone — 50 per cent of Torontonians aged 18 years and older — reminds us that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. This is a long tunnel though, and we have work to do before we see the end,” Toronto’s Medical Officer of Health Dr. Eileen de Villa said in a May 8 news release.
